It seems that the achievement is corrupt: World Traveler (0x000000000000003F / 6)
I verified it using the excellent parser :) Is there anyway to fix it without resetting all my in progress achievements?

Hi
Your achievement information says, translated into binary, that you have played on six of eight maps. If they haven't changed the requirements, that is, as you say, corrupt. If they have changed it (added two of the new maps, perhaps?), it means that you are missing two maps.
(3F = 00111111)
You cannot reset your achievement progress at this time, but there I've heard that Valve are planning to reimplement a "Reset stats" button. I do not know that this is confirmed, and I do not know that you can reset achievements with it too. Hopefully, you can reset everything you want to when it is ready.
I cannot confirm this either, but deleting your gamestate.txt file (team fortress 2\tf\gamestate.txt) may help you (make sure to take a backup before deleting it). It will probably just be redownloaded from the server next time you run the game, but I think somebody lost the achievement progress by doing this.
If you do it, I take no responsibility ;)
Kindest Regards, Erlend Dahl

I think i should just say this. By deleting your gamestate.txt file you do lose your achievement progress, but you do not lose your achievements. The reasons for this is that kills for instance are saved locally on the computer, such as 231/500 kills.

Ultrafast response, thanks so much guys. I guess I'll have to live with it until they do a proper fix. No way I'll reset my progress for those other achievements, it'll take me ages to reach my current status. Thank you and good luck with the brand new forum!
